NYSED has selected the First In Math Online Program as a resource to support STEM readiness for students throughout the state in grades K through 5.
Access to this proven PRACTICE program is FREE to all schools.
As the vendor to implement a State Initiative to promote a love of math and support math fluency within elementary students (K-5) across New York, First In Math is:
- An optional program with flexible use AT NO COST TO DISTRICTS. Flexibility can include enrichment/extension, to supplement or complement current work being done in the classroom or fun summer learning.
- Online, standards-based math games and activities for all skill levels. (standards correlation document PDF)
- Not a requirement, but is an additional asset to promote mathematical thinking and fluency.
