NOIDA, GHAZIABAD—Ms. Dimple Anil, Principal of Billabong High International School in Noida, is deeply committed to using the First In Math Online Program, as she sees her students excitedly follow the path to maths mastery—and self-discovery.
“We all compete with others daily but we need to compete not with others but with ourselves,” explains Anil. “The moment our students compete in this way, they increase the level of the bar of excellence, without anxiety yet with competitive spirit.”
Ms. Anil recently presided over a School Assembly where First In Math certificates were presented to the first 15 students to earn 500 and 1,000 virtual stickers in the online math program. Each sticker earned roughly equals three maths problems solved correctly.

Ms. Shilpi, the school anchor for First In Math, is innovative in the use of the First In Math to get students to start solving problems from the first day in school. Once the students start to engage in practice, she encourages them to strive for the ‘Player of the Day’ spot. The Player of the Day is the student who solves the most math problems each day.

Students from all classes proudly display their ‘Player of the Day’ lanyards at school.
